It is relatively easy to do if you have that hip flexibility you need to be able to do the split.
If this is the first time you are doing this pose, I would advice you to start with the Semi Side Split pose first.
If you don’t have the flexibility you need in your hip, don’t stop and don’t give up, the fact that you try to do it over and over again teaches your body, stretches it and so in time you WILL be able to do it.
I will post some flexibility video soon to show what you need to work on to be able to do the split.
In this pose it is VERY important to keep the leg that is close to the hoop straight the whole time. Please ask somebody to spot you (as usual in aerial) but ask them to specially look at the leg, as this is what keeps you up there in this pose.
