A year and a half ago I fell from a trapeze. I never fell from my hoop or from any other aerial apparatus. It was very frightening, it was shocking but most of all – it wasn’t my fault. It was my (now ex) trainer’s fault.
The minute i fell i was lying on my face, on a thin thin mattress and i was shocked, frightened, scared, i was afraid i will not be able to move anymore, i was afraid i will not be able to walk. I was devastated.
Cradle is a very beautiful move and transition. It is a place where you can rest and catch your breath and it is a place to tell your story, this is why I love it so much because you have room to express in it. This pose is beautiful by itself but, as many other poses, it’s a transition to many other poses.
If you are a beginner you most likely won’t succeed to get into it very easily, and this is why i show in the video also an easier way to get into it, BUT it is important to remember that this is not the RIGHT way to get into it, it is an easier way to help you understand what it feels like to be in this pose.
